Dr. Wendy Niles
Facilitation and Community Engagement

Wendy is an educator and staff developer with over 26 years of experience.  She has worked with teachers and support staff to implement new teaching strategies to ensure student success.  As a staff developer, Dr. Niles designs policies, practices and procedures that are used to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies of staff in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of both the individual and the organization.  Her goal is to ensure that teachers close the education and opportunity gap for underserved and marginalized populations.  Likewise, Dr. Niles has been able to utilize these same skills and implement them within the business model.  She has been a facilitator during community engagement roundtables, ensuring that all voices were heard and all concerns were addressed.  Dr. Niles has disaggregated data in order to study the needs of the small business community in Southeast Queens.  Just as she closed the educational gap, she continues to work tirelessly to provide businesses with the skills and strategies necessary to close the economic gap in order to maintain a competitive edge.


Tanya Simmons Reid

Tanya brings over two decades of combined experience in business strategy, branding, communications, community outreach, donor development, event planning and production, marketing, media and sales. She uses her expertise to primarily help businesses effectively serve the public interest and the common good. Tanya has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast News from North Carolina A&T State University and a Nonprofit Consultant Certification from the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations and Executives.
